다-시점(多-視點) 서울

이번 전시에서는 서울시청, 남산, 남대문시장, 한옥마을, 광화문광장, 잠실, 여의도 등 많은 사람들이 지나다니는 공간들을 다시점(多視點)으로 표현한 작품들이 선보인다. 작가가 직접 도시 산책자가 되어 서울 이곳저곳을 돌아다니며 찾아낸 형형색색의 아름다운 풍경들이 작품에 고스란히 담겨 있다. 그동안 너무나 사소하여 무심코 지나쳤던, 그러나 분명히 그곳에 존재는 매력적인 요소들이 작품에 가득 담겨 있어 관람의 흥미를 더한다. ● 작가는 캔버스, 라인테이프, 브리콜라주(손재주를 이용해 필요한 물건을 만드는 작업)를 활용한 설치작품을 통해 관람자가 공간 속에서 자유롭게 움직이며 자신만의 경로를 탐색하도록 유도한다. 관람자들은 자신의 움직임에 따라 작품을 다시점(多視點)으로 바라보며 서울이라는 도시의 새로운 매력을 발견하길 바란다. ■ 서울시청 하늘광장 갤러리

나의 작품은 주변의 평범한 풍경과 삶의 조각들을 대상으로 한다. 서울에서 태어나고 자란 만큼, 나의 작품에는 서울의 다양한 모습이 반영되어 있다. 바쁘게 살아가며 느낀 외로움과 공허함 또한 나의 작품에 스며들어 있다. 작품 속 대상은 여러 면으로 나뉘고 연결되어 있으며, 다시점(多視點)의 영향으로 형태는 조각적이고 불분명하다. 이러한 방식을 통해 대상의 본질에 대한 나만의 시각을 표현하고, 여백을 남겨둠으로써 다시점(多視點)의 특징을 부각시킨다. ■ 이윤정

This exhibition presents artworks that reflect multiple viewpoints from high-traffic spaces in Seoul, such as Seoul City Hall, Namsan Mountain, Namdaemun Market, Hanok Village, Gwanghwamun Square, Jamsil, and Yeouido. While exploring every corner of the city, the artist discovered beautiful scenes in diverse colors and translated them into artwork. The works encapsulate the often overlooked allure of seemingly trivial details, enriching the viewer's experience with layers of flavor. ● The installation pieces, constructed with canvas, line tapes, and bricolage techniques, invite viewers to freely navigate and explore their own pathways within the space. By encouraging viewers to engage with the artworks from different angles and movements, the artist aims for them to uncover new dimensions of Seoul's charm. ■ SKY PLAZA GALLERY

My works delve into the ordinary scenes and fragments of daily life that surround us. As a native of Seoul, I draw inspiration from the city's multifaceted nature. Within my works, I aim to convey the sense of loneliness and emptiness often experienced amidst the hustle and bustle of urban life. Objects within the artworks are fragmented yet interconnected, mirroring the multiple perspectives from which they are observed. This fragmentation emphasizes the essence of the objects while leaving room for interpretation. ■ Yun-jung Lee
