나는 내면에 있는 기억, 꿈, 상상 등의 이미지나 비현실적인 생각이나 감정을 이미지로 표현한다. 마음 속 이미지를 효과적으로 나타내기 위해 대상의 형태를 변형시키거나 생략, 과장하여 상징적 표현을 이루어 낸다. 직접적으로 표현하기도 하지만 간접적으로 내면의 세계를 암시하기도 하고, 때로는 생명이 없는 것에 생명을 불어 넣기도 하며 사물이나 생명체에 새로운 의미를 부여하기도 한다. ● 또한 공간의 변형, 사물의 병치와 은유적 표현들은 논리적인 생각에서 벗어나 미지의 세계로 시야를 넓히고자 한다 이렇듯 작품에 다양한 방법으로 드러나는 상징적 이미지들은 내가 이상적 세계로 이동함에 있어 현재에서 과거 그리고 미래도 연관 지을 수 있는 시간적 의미도 가지고 있다.

이 세상에 존재하는 모든 것에는 상징적인 의미가 내포되어 있으며 나아가 우주 전체가 하나의 커다란 상징이라고 볼 수 있다. 나는 사물이나 어떠한 형태에 의미를 부여해 변형된 상징을 만들며 주술적 의미를 담아 예술로 표현하고자 한다. ● 작품에 이미지들은 영생의 상징으로 나타나며 이러한 이미지들은 나의 소망과 함께 기억과 상상을 통해 주관적으로 표현된다. 현실 세계와는 다른 또 다른 세계로의 여행을 꿈꾼다.

주로 등장하는 소재들은 오랜 역사성을 지니고 있는 것들과 사라져지지 않고 남겨지는 것들,멸종위기의 동물들이다. 나는 이들에게 나의 심정을 고백하듯 서술하며 세계와 소통한다. ● 이것은 이상적 세계에서의 나의 역할이며 상징물들은 세상과 세상을 이어주는 연결자이다. 또한 이러한 상징물과 더불어 우리의 삶에 터전이자 모든 것이 생성되고 소멸되는 자연과 함께 어우러져 신비롭고 수수께끼 같은 해석을 유도했다. ■ 아나샘

To effectively represent the image in the mind, a symbolic expression is made by modifying, omitting, or exaggerating the shape of the object. It is expressed directly, but indirectly implies the inner world, sometimes invokes life to the lifeless, and gives new meaning to things or life. ● Also, the transformation of space, the parallelism of things, and metaphorical expressions are intended to extend their horizons to the unknown beyond logical thinking. As such, the symbolic images revealed in various ways in the work also have a temporal meaning to link the present to the past and the future as I move to the ideal world. ● Everything in this world has a symbolic meaning, and the whole universe is a great symbol. I want to give meaning to things or certain forms to create modified symbols and express them in art with shamanistic meanings. ● Images appear as symbols of eternal life in the work, and these images are expressed subjectively through memory and imagination with my wishes. I dream of traveling to another world that is different from the real world. ● Mainly featured materials are those with a long history, those left undying, and endangered animals. I communicate with the world by describing my feelings to them as if I were confessing them. ● This is my role in the ideal world and symbols are the link between the world and the world.
