나는 내면의 기억과 의미 있는 상징물 통해 또 다른 세상에서의 영원한 삶을 추구한다. 그곳은 동물과 식물이 신성시되는 곳이다. 오랜 역사성을 지닌 화석이나 개체수가 줄어드는 동물들, 머리카락, 산호, 뿔 등은 변치 않고 오래 지속될 수 있다는 강한 믿음과 함께 나의 개인적인 상징물로 등장한다. 그들은 직접적으로 표현되기도 하지만 형태를 왜곡하며 간접적으로 내면세계를 암시하기도하고 때로는 생명이 없는 것에 생명을 불어 넣으며 새로운 의미를 부여 한다. 이것은 내면세계에서의 나의 역할이다. 이와 더불어 상징물들은 세상과 세상을 이어주는 연결자로서 현재에서 과거 그리고 미래를 넘나들며 끝없는 세계를 표현 한다. ■ 아나샘

I pursue an eternal life in another world through my inner memory and some meaningful symbols. There, animals and plants are sacred. The time-honored fossils, the decreasing animals, the hairs, the corals, the horns, etc. It is my firm belief that they will not change but remain long. They are my personal symbols. I express them directly, but sometimes, I deform them, hinting their inner world indirectly, or at other times, I breathe a life into them to attach new meanings to them. It's my role in my inner world. In addition, I would like to express an endless world crossing past, present and future by using such symbols as the connectors linking this world with anther world. ■ ANASAEM
