별 이야기 Stars Story

나의 생활 반경 안에서의 자연체감 방식은 멀리 보는 시각보다 좀 더 가까이 들여다보기이다. 소박한 마당 안에서 경이로운 자연의 창조력을 찾아내고 거기에 상상력을 보태는 발상으로 그림을 시작한다. 같은 시공간을 살아가는 생명으로서의 잎사귀들을 의인화하여 교감하려 했다. 세세한 잎맥에 스며있는 하늘과 땅의 기운, 그 의미가 찻잔 속에 담겨 우리의 숨결처럼 구름 따라 모이고 흩어지는 날들을 그렸다. ■ 양태숙

My way of feeling nature in the radius of my life is to look closer than from afar. I start painting with the idea of finding the creative power of phenomenal nature in my small yard and adding imagination to it. It depicts a scene of communion that personifies leaves as living creatures living in the same time and space. The energy of the sky and earth permeated by the detailed leaf veins, the meaning of it, is captured in a teacup, drawing the days of clouds gathering and scattering like our breaths. ■ YANGTAESOOK
