다섯 개의 창

갤러리 조선은 6월 1일 부터 6월 23일 까지 윤병운 작가의 '다섯 개의 창'전을 진행한다. 이번 전시는 윤병운 작가의 신작들로 구성되며, 눈 오는 풍경으로 익히 알려진 그의회화 뿐 아니라 새롭게 시도하는 설치 작업들도 함께 선보일 예정이다. 윤병운은 회화를 창문에 비유하는데 이번에 입체를 시도하는 것은 불확실한 의미에서 벗어나 작업에 실질적인 의미를 부여하는 것이라고 이야기한다. 윤병운에게 회화란 알 수 없는 세계를 향한 신호에 가깝고, 초현실적인 풍경들은 그가 만들어놓은 다섯 개의 창문을 통해 그의 세계를 나직히 보여준다. ■ 갤러리 조선

Gallery Chosun proceeds with exhibition of Five Windows by an artist, Byung Woon Yoon, starting on the first of June and closing on the 23rd of June. This said exhibition shall comprise the artist's new art works and not only his well-known paintings for snowy scene, but also newly tried installation works are to be exhibited. The artist comments that his painting in the form of window shall be analogous and 3 dimensional work is meaningful because 3 D will bless his abstract work with tangible meaning. For the artist Yoon, painting signals that unknown world beckons us and surrealistic scenes show his own world through five windows of his creation in parallel. ■ GALLERYCHOSUN
