정원 Garden(Circle)

정원庭園, 이면裏面 ● 정원은 표현된 결과물이며 이면은 표현하고자 하는 양상이다. ● 내 장면 기억력은 제로에 가깝다. 바로 전에 본 것도 전체적인 느낌만이 남아있을 뿐 내 몸 어디에도 존재하지 않는다. 모든 것이 나를 통과해 흘러 지나간다. 작은 흔적만을 남기고......하지만 나를 송두리째 뒤흔드는 강한 자극들이 있다. 예를 들면 어렸을 때 버스에서 내리자마자 다가온 도시를 감싼 낯선 햇빛의 감정 색과 공기 내음, 난 시각이 아닌 모든 감각으로 새겨진 장면을 기억한다.

인간의 인위적 인식에 의해 구획되고 선택되고 존속되는 자연이라는 생각에서부터 '정원(庭園)'을 인식하게 되었다. 내가 뱉어내는 자연은 내 생각에 의해 재단되어 가공된 나의 정원이다. 나의 정원은 2차원의 모양 틀 안에 조성된다. 부대끼는 감정과 감각들을 단순화시키고 성장시켜 그 틀 안에 심어 놓는다. 현재 노출된 정보들은 나를 의구심이 난무하는 혼돈의 정원으로 만들었다. 난 나의 직접적 체험에 의한 습득만을 믿기로 했다. 그것도 단면이 아닌 이면일 것이다.

현재 내게 보여지지 않는 이면의 달은 내 절대적 상상의 공간이며 의도된 백지와 같다. 나의 달은 내 사적 치정에 랩핑된 물질의 덩어리이다. 달은 절대적 물질의 덩어리이며 변화하지 않는다. 내가 보이는 부분만을 인식하고 보고 싶은 부분만을 기억할 뿐이다. ● 사람이 人으로 각자 이브의 사과를 먹고 자신의 수치를 인식하자. 그것은 인간에게 신이 하사한 저주이자 축복이다. ■ 김정은

A garden; the reverse side ● A garden is the depicted outcome, and the reverse side is the pattern that one seeks to depict. ● I have nearly zero ability to remember scenes. Even something that I have seen just a moment before only leaves the overall feel; it exists nowhere in my body. Everything passes through and flows by me. Leaving only small traces… But there are strong stimuli that shake me up thoroughly. For example, the emotional color of the unfamiliar sunlight and the smell of the air enveloping the city, which struck me right after I got off the bus when I was little; I remember scenes engraved through all senses other than sight. ● From my thoughts on nature, which is demarcated, selected, and maintained through humans' artificial perceptions, I have come to perceive gardens. The nature that I spit out is my garden tailored and processed by my thoughts. My garden is created in a framework with a 2-dimensional shape. I simplify and foster jostling emotions and senses, planting them in that framework. Currently exposed information has turned me into a garden of chaos where doubt abounds. I have decided to believe only in acquisition through my direct experience. That, too, will be the reverse side, not a cross section. ● The reverse side of the moon that is currently not shown to me is a space of my absolute imagination and is like an intentionally blank piece of paper. My moon is a lump of matter wrapped in my private, foolish passion. The moon is a lump of absolute matter and does not change. I perceive only what can be seen and remember only what I want to see. ● Let people, with humanity, each eat Eve's apple and perceive their shame. That is a curse and a blessing granted to humans by god. ■ KIMJEOUNGEUN
