Still-Life for Magician

현실 속에서 이상을 꿈꾸며, 살아가지만 언제나 만족하지 못하는 것이 우리의 모습일 것이다. 나는 때때로 일상의 모습에서 일탈된 상상적 이미지를 꿈꾸며, 상상의 나라로 도피한다. 마음이나 이야기 속에 존재하는 실제가 아닌, 생각으로 그려낸 상상의 풍경을 떠올리면, 마치 망원경을 거꾸로 한 것처럼 물체가 작아 보이거나, 커 보이거나, 왜곡되어 보이는 아주 신기한 시각적 환영(Optical Illusion)을 경험하곤 한다. 난 진실 된 세상이 아닌 동화 속 세상에서 사는 것을 꿈꾼다. ■ 손준호

We live dreaming about ideals in reality but we are never satisfied. This reflects our life. I sometimes dream about the imaginary images that are departed from my daily life and escaped to the imaginary world. This is not the reality that exists in mind or in a story. I recall an imaginary landscape that is painted by mind and I often experience a very amazing 'Optical Illusion' by which an object is seen distorted and small or big as if it is looked through a upside down telescope. I dream about living in the world of a fairy tale, not in the reality. ■ SONJUNHO
