내 작업실은 은(銀)이 많이 났다는 파주 장곡리 은골에 있다. 나는 수없이 많은 잡초들과 꽃을 만나고 있다. 계절에 따라 변화하면서 나고 또 사라진다. 그 삶의 궤적은 존재의 있음과 없음이 함께하면서 동시에 교차되는 끊임없는 순환체계 속에 있음을 보여준다. 투명 아크릴 또는 폴리카보네이트 판 위에 염화메틸렌을 사용하여, 갈대와 코스모스꽃 등을 실체 그대로 각인하였다.  투명 아크릴 판에 남게 된 형상은 그 모양 그대로 실체적이지만, 거의 투명한 상태여서 그 실체감이 사라진다. 또한 초월적 투명이미지들을 팝업 방식으로 펼쳐지도록 묶어주어서, 환상적인 공간으로 연출하고자 하였다. ■ 안정민

My studio is located at Ehngoll(The Silver Valley), a valley known for its old silver mines. I've met with all kinds of wild flowers and plants. As the seasons go by, they rise and fall. Traces of life, existing and nonexisting coincide with the eternal circle of life. Using methylene chloride upon transparent acrylic or polycarbonate sheets, lifelike imprints of Reeds, Cosmoses, etc were made. The imprint on the board itself is a true shape, however, the transparent state takes its reality away. I tried to make a fantastical space, by tying these transcendental images into pop-ups,. ■ ANJEONGMIN
