바람 사이에서 Between Wind

바람 사이에서 ● 자신을 물고기에 빗대어 환상적인 풍경의 모습을 그려 온 문혜린 작가는 이번 개인전을 통해 "바람"을 그려본다. 솜사탕처럼 달콤하고, 파도소리같이 시원한 그리고 꽃 향기처럼 향긋한 바람은 언제나 물고기나 말을 이끌고 다닌다. 바람이 부는 곳으로 이끌려 가는 것인지 바람을 불러 일으키는지는 알 수 없으나 이들은 언제나 함께이다. ● 부서지는 파도의 에너지가 느껴지는 강렬한 바람은 「Between Wind #1」에서 볼 수 있다. 청량한바다 내음과 함께 들릴 듯한 파도소리는 마음까지 시원해진다. 요동치는 물고기 떼는 마치 파도에 몸을 맡긴 우리의 모습 같기도 하다. 입 속에서 달콤하게 녹아버릴 듯한 포근한 감촉의 바람은 「Between Wind #2」, 「Between Wind #3」로 그 달콤함이 가득한 꽃잎으로 인해 더 아릅답게 느껴진다. 작가는 이번 전시를 통해 새로운 모티프로 말을 가지고 온다. 어디론가 가고 있는 목마 같은 앙증맞은 모티프의 형상에는 다양한 패턴이 가득하다. 작가는 그림 속 가득 찬 꽃과 다양한 패턴을 통해 열정을 표현하고 싶었다고 말했다. 그러나 그가 그린 열정은 10대의 주체할 수 없는 강렬한 어떤 것이라기 보다 조금은 다듬어져 자연스러운, 아름다운 것이다. 아직 절제되거나 응축된 것은 아니지만 이제 그에게 열정은 꿈을 이루기 위해 소모되는 어떤 것이라기 보다는 삶을 풍요롭게 하는 것에 가깝게 발전하였다. 지금 당장 앞으로 나가는 힘이 폭발적이지는 않더라도 삶을 즐기며 앞으로 조금 느리게 가는 것이 지금 이 시대에는 더 맞는 방식일지 모르겠다. ■ 김윤애

Between Wind ● Artist HEY-RIN MOON compared herself to a fish and drew a fantastic scenery and expressed "Wind" in this exhibition. It is uncertain if the wind is leading the way or if the wind blows in order to lead the way, but they always move together. The energy of waves shattering in the strong wind is expressed in 「Between Wind #1」. The scent of cool sea and sounds of the waves also refresh the soul. The heavily moving school of fish let the waves lead the way. This also looks like the people today. The sweet and soft melting texture of the wind is expressed in 「Between Wind #2」, 「Between Wind #3」 and also shows sweet scent of flower petals, which makes the art piece more beautiful. The artist new motif for this exhibition is "horse". Using the motif of an adorable wooden horse, who is full of diverse patterns, is headed to an unknown place. Passion of the artist is expressed in the art piece through abundant flowers and diverse patterns. However, the drawings are not showing the passion of a teenager, but rather express the nurtured naturalness and beauty. The pictures are not expressing restraint or condense passion for their dream, but rather the drawing are closer to expressing the abundance of life. Currently, the energy to move forward may not be explosive, but enjoying life and moving a little slower to enjoy life seems to be the direction the people these day should try to live. ■ KIMYOUNAE
