노트 The NOTE

쓰기, 어딘가에 남기기, 없어지더라도 개의치 않고 계속하기, 다시 펼쳐 보기의 무한반복. ● 나는 쓰고 나서는 잊은 채로 내버려두더라도 수시로 떠오르는 생각들을 쓰는 습관을 가지고 있다. 책을 읽다가도 마음에 드는 문장이 나오면 나중에 다시 보려고 반드시 옮겨 적어 놓는다. 종이, 핸드폰, 신문지 등등 어디라도 가리지 않고 닥치는 대로.. ● 이렇게 모은 글들을 며칠 후, 몇 년 후에 꺼내어 보면 낙서로, 편지로, 시와 소설로 변해서 나를 울리고 웃기면서 짧지만 깊은 감동을 준다. 나도 몰랐던 내가 써놓은 것들은 낯설고 흥미롭다. ● 아무런 목적도 없는 무아지경의 쓸데없는 끄적거림. 그 순간을 불러내어 그대로 여기에 적어보기로 한다. ■ 박수진

Writing, leaving notes somewhere, keeping working on them regardless of losing, unfolding the written notes, and endless repetition of those acts. ● I have a habit of leaving notes of a glint in my eyes even though I forget writing them or leave them anywhere in the corner of the room. If I find favorite words and phrases in a book, I copy them on anything nearby, a slip of paper, newspaper at random, to remember them and read them again. ● One day, when I happen to find them unexpectedly, those notes bring me the old memories and make me laugh or cry leaving a deep impress on my mind. The notes written by me in the past, who was different from what I am now, are sometimes very unfamiliar and very exciting at other times. ● The scribbles written in a trance without any purpose... Here, I recall the moments from the notes. ■ Park Sujin
