Alternative Method : Flower series

이 대안적 사진 프로젝트를 위해 상업적 가치가 떨어지며 곧 폐기될 위기에 있는 꽃들이 선택되었다. 물질만능주의 시대에 인간의 욕망을 채우지 못한 채 시들어가는 꽃들은 자본주의 사회 속 제품으로서의 유용성을 잃었으며, 더 이상 의도된 역할을 수행하지 못한다. 이 오브제들은 꽃잎으로 해체되어 캔버스 위에 유기적으로 재구성되었으며, 작가가 선택한 조화, 혁신 및 공존과 연관된 멜로디가 동반되었다. 음악의 선율은 캔버스 아래에 배치된 스피커로부터 파장을 일으키며 3분 56초 동안 다채로운 천연색을 가지고 있는 오브제들과 충돌한다. 장노출로 포착된 꽃잎들의 움직임은 이질적이며 추상적인 결과물을 만들어내며, 시각예술의 확장성을 탐구한다. ■ 박진식

For this alternative photo project, wilting flowers, soon to be discarded due to their diminishing commercial value, were acquired. In an era of materialism where human desires remain unfulfilled, these fading flowers have lost their utility as products in capitalist society and no longer serve their intended purpose. These objects were deconstructed into petals and organically reassembled on canvas, accompanied by a melody chosen by the artist, associated with harmony, innovation, and coexistence. The melody emanates from speakers placed beneath the canvas for 3 minutes and 56 seconds, colliding with the diverse natural colors of the objects, creating a result of disparate and abstract long exposure, exploring the expansiveness of visual art. ■ Jinsik Park
