흔적의 프랙탈 Trace Fractal

부천문화재단-부천아트벙커B39는 3월 8일(금)부터 3월 31일(일)까지 설치작가 오순미(Oh Soonmi)와 버티컬댄스팀 써드네이처(Project 3N)의 협업 프로젝트 전시 『흔적의 프랙탈(Trace Fractal)』를 개최한다. ● 오순미 작가가 기획한 이번 프로젝트는 쓰레기 소각장과 복합문화공간이라는 과거와 현재의 기억을 담은 부천아트벙커B39에서 전개된다. 인간은 영원한 삶을 살아간다고 생각하지만, 언젠가는 소멸하여 어떠한 형태의 생명력으로든 다시 탄생하는 유한한 존재이다. 작가는 이 비가시적인 환원에 대해 관심을 갖고, 영상, 설치 등 다양한 매체로 표현한다. 관람객의 움직임에 따라 실시간으로 변화하는 작품을 통해 관람객은 곧 사유의 대상이 된다. 한편 전시와 더불어 전시연계 공연도 만나볼 수 있다. 버티컬댄스팀 써드네이처가 선보이는 이번 공연은 실연자의 동선을 따라 관람객이 함께 이동하며 관람하는 장소특정적 공연이다. 공간에 설치된 작품을 무대로 탄생, 소멸, 재탄생이라는 생명의 환원을 재해석하며, 39m 벙커 공중에서 펼쳐지는 3막의 퍼포먼스는 중력을 거스르기도 한다.

설치작가 오순미는 유한한 인간 존재에 대해 관심을 갖고 다양한 매체를 사용해 유희와 사유를 이끄는 작품 세계를 펼쳐오고 있다. 관객과의 소통을 중시하며, 관객의 시선에 따라 변화하는 인터렉티브 아트로 풀어낸다. 버티컬댄스팀 써드네이처는 한국 무용을 기반으로 공중과 수중, 고층건물 등 장소의 경계 없이 다채로운 무대를 선보이고 있다. 미디어, 디지털 아트 등 장르와의 실험적인 협업을 통해 공연의 범주를 확장한다. ● 전시와 공연은 부천아트벙커B39 1층 멀티미디어홀과 벙커에서 진행된다. 전시는 화~일요일 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지이며, 월요일과 공휴일은 휴관한다. 공연은 총 세 차례에 걸쳐, 3월 30일에는 11시, 16시 2회 공연을, 3월 31일에는 16시 1회 공연이 예정되어 있다. 전시는 별도의 사전예약 없이 현장 관람할 수 있으며, 공연은 사전예약을 통해 관람할 수 있다. 관련한 세부 내용과 예약 방식은 부천아트벙커B39 누리집(artbunkerb39.org)을 통해 확인할 수 있다. ■ 부천아트벙커B39

Bucheon Art Bunker B39 Invitational Exhibition 『Trace Fractal』 - An exhibition that discusses the reduction of existence through birth, extinction, and rebirth. - Vertical performances featuring works installed in the space will also be presented. Bucheon Cultural Foundation-Bucheon Art Bunker B39 will be holding the collaborative project exhibition "Trace Fractal" by installation artist Oh Soonmi and vertical dance team Project 3N from Friday, March 8 to Sunday, March 31. 2024. This project, organized by artist Oh Soonmi, will be held at Bucheon Art Bunker B39, which contains memories of the past and present as a waste incinerator and a complex cultural space. Although humans think they live an eternal life, they are finite beings who will one day disappear and be reborn with some form of vitality. The artist is interested in this invisible reduction and expresses it through various media such as video and installation. Through the work, which changes in real time according to the viewer's movements, the viewer soon becomes an object of thought. Meanwhile, in addition to the exhibition, you can also see exhibition-related performances. This performance presented by the vertical dance team Project 3N is a site-specific performance in which the audience moves along the performer's movements. The work installed in space reinterprets the return of life, such as birth, extinction, and rebirth, and the performance of the third act, which takes place in the air of a 39m bunker, even defies gravity. ● Installation artist Oh Soonmi is interested in her finite human existence and has been unfolding her world of works that guide her play and thinking using various media. She values communication with the audience and creates interactive art that changes depending on the audience's perspective. The vertical dance team Project 3N is based on Korean dance and is presenting a variety of stages regardless of location, including in the air, underwater, and high-rise buildings. The scope of performance is expanded through experimental collaboration with genres such as media and digital art. ● This exhibition and performance will be held in the multimedia hall and bunker on the first floor of Bucheon Art Bunker B39. The exhibition is open from 10 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Sunday, and is closed on Mondays and public holidays. There will be three performances in total: two performances at 11:00 and 16:00 on March 30th, and one performance at 16:00 on March 31st.
