무(無)로부터 유(有)한 어떤 것이 만들어질 때는 순간의 힘이 요구된다. 색과 붓이 어우러져 순간에 그려진 궤적은 비결정적인 요소 일지라도 즉흥적인 힘에 의해서만 비로소 형상화될 수 있다. 작업에서 나타나는 형상은 무에서 유로 막 첫발을 내디딘 작가 내면의 무의식에서 시작되는 별의 원형의 움직임을 감각적인 언어로 시각화 하였다.

윤혜진 작가의 작업은 내면의 원형을 탐구하며 심연의 유희를 자유드로잉을 토대로 형상화 한다. 그리고 기존의 관념화된 사고에서 탈피하여 직관적으로 사물을 재현한다. 그 재현된 이미지는 작가의 즉흥적 행위와 함께 다시 변형되며 오브제는 또 다른 오브제로 이행한다. 이처럼 작가의 무의식에서 비롯된 사물들은 어디에도 고정되지 않은 자유로운 실체의 모습으로, 예측 불가능한 새로운 이야기를 전개한다. 일정한 규칙 없이 표면 위에 흐르는 물감이나 강렬한 색채의 대비, 그리고 시시때때로 변화하는 형상은 구상과 추상의 경계를 넘나든다. 작업에서 나타나는 낯선 실체의 의인화된 형상을 모호한 경계 선상에서 마주하게 되면 다층적 감정을 일으킨다. 그리고 거침없이 표현된 붓 터치와 색의 긴장감과 상호 작용으로 궁극적으로 억압 할 수없는 근본 에너지의 영역을 확장시킨다.

윤혜진 작가는 드로잉 페인팅 콜라주 입체 등 표현에 있어서 다채롭지만 지극히 주관적 언어와 심리적 산물을 보여주고 있다. 이번 전시의 주제 "Protostar"를 통해 현대의 관습에 의문을 제기함으로써 반문화적 요소를 내포하고 있는 동시에 작가는 별의 원형의 자가 중력의 힘으로 붕괴되고 새롭게 융합되는 원성과정의 추상성을 새로운 시각적 언어로 전달하고 있다. ■ 갤러리 랩

Momentary power is required when something is made from nothing. The trajectory drawn at the moment, combined with color and brush, can only be shaped by spontaneous force, even if it is an inconclusive element. The figure in the work develops the movement of Protostar, a primitive star, which begins with the inner unconscious of the author who has just taken the first step from nothing. ● Yoon Hye-jin's work explores the inner circle and embodies the abyss based on free drawing. And it intuitively reproduces things away from conventional ideological thinking. The reproduced image is transformed again with the author's improvisation and the object is transformed into another object. As such, objects arising from the writer's unconsciousness are a free entity that is not fixed anywhere, and they develop an unpredictable new story. The contrast of paint or intense colors flowing on the surface without regular rules, and the occasional change of shape, crosses the boundaries of imagination and abstraction. Facing personified figures of unfamiliar entities in a task at ambiguous boundaries creates multilayered emotions. And the inexorable interaction of brush touches and color tension ultimately extends the realm of irrepressible energy and star primitives. ● Yoon Hye-jin shows colorful but extremely subjective language and psychological products in expressions such as drawing, painting, collage, and stereoscopic. Through the exhibition's theme "Protostar," the artist embodies countercultural elements by questioning contemporary customs, while conveying Protostar's self-gravity collapse and newly fused abstractions in a new visual language. ■ GALLERY LAAB
