나의 심상 속 세상 시리즈는 자연과 인간과 IT(SNS)가 함께 공존하는 세상을 표현했다. 배경은 장지에 아교포수 후 분채로 노랑색, 연두색, 하늘색, 빨간색등으로 칠했다. 조형적 형상부분에서 구름, 새, 산, 꽃은 자연을 뜻한다. 눈을 감고 있는 얼굴은 함께 공존한다는 뜻에서 눈을 감고 있으며 큰 봉우리 같은 꽃모양 속의 어플리케이션(어플)들은 지금이 현 21세기 코딩시대(IT)라는 걸 표현하기 위해 차용된 이미지들이다. ● 본인은 일상생활에서 많이 접하여 친숙한 자연물 소재를 통해 자연회귀와 인간성 회복을 추구하는 인간의 의지를 보여주고자 하였다. 인간에게 매우 친근한 존재로 숭고하고 순수한 생명의 본질과 신비를 느끼게 하는 소재인 꽃이나 구름, 새, 산등을 소재로 다루고 있다. 또한 도상적 아이콘인 혹은 네트워크의 중심이 되는 앱(페이스북, 카카오톡, 비트윈)을 통해 네크워크속의 관계망을 나타내고자 앱들의 이미지를 차용했다. 작품에서 중요하게 표현되어지는 구성요소를 살펴보자면 명암이나 공간적인 덩어리보다는 다양한 변화와 율동적인 패턴에 의한 반복적인 선이 주가 되고 있다. ■ 최혜원

The World in My Image series expresses a world where nature, humans, and IT (SNS) coexist. The background was glued on the jangji and then painted in yellow, light green, sky blue, and red as a powder. In the formative part, clouds, birds, mountains, and flowers mean nature. Faces with closed eyes close their eyes in the sense that they coexist together, and the applications (apps) in the shape of a flower like a big peak are images borrowed to express that this is the current 21st century coding era (IT). ● I tried to show the human will to pursue natural regression and humanity recovery through familiar materials of natural objects that have been encountered a lot in everyday life. It deals with flowers, clouds, birds, and mountains, which are materials that make people feel the essence and mystery of the sublime and pure life as a very friendly being to humans. In addition, images of apps were borrowed to represent the network in the network through iconic icons or apps (Facebook, KakaoTalk, Between) that are the center of the network. Looking at the components that are importantly expressed in the work, the repetitive lines by various changes and rhythmic patterns are predominantly rather than light and dark or spatial lumps. ■ CHOIHYEWON
