Never falling trees ● 흔들리는 꽃.. 이리저리 방향이 바뀌는 바람.. 흘러가버리는 물.. 시시각각 휙휙 변해버리고 마는 것들이다 허나 그저 한자리에 그대로 서있을 뿐인 나무. 오롯이 혼자서 계속 자라나고 길어지고 두꺼워지는 나이테를 지니고 있지만 인간의 시간으로는 그것들을 따라잡을 수가 없다. 거친 나무껍질, 얇은 잎, 위로 위로 뻗어가는 나뭇가지의 모습은 인식 되어지는 순간 나에게 이미지의 나무가 되어버린다. 순간 마음에 투영된 나무 이미지 위에 나는 나의 감정과 생각만을 얹었을 뿐이었다. 많은 질문들 속에서 내 삶의 진지함은 굳건히 서있는 나무에게, 행복을 찾는 여정은 빨간 빛의 나무에게, 수없이 많은 물음들을 던져놓았었다. 이제는 오롯이. 그저 찰나의 나무가 내 기억 속에서 그저 그대로 나에게 남기는 것을 온전히 그리고 싶을 뿐이다. 그제의 다급함, 혼란의 나무가 오늘은 생기 있는 찬란함의 나무로, 그제의 알록달록한 나뭇잎의 형상들이 오늘은 수많은 색깔의 바람물결이 되어 휘몰아치고 있다. Never falling trees ● Blown flowers Winds turning direction here and there Flowing water… Everything quickly changes every moment. However, a tree stands on its place as always. It stands alone, keeps growing up and keeps getting longer and its annual rings keep getting thicker. Our perception of time cannot catch up with these. Rough barks thin leaves and branches spreading upward become the tree of image as soon as perceiving them. I only put my emotions and thoughts on the image of tree projected in my heart. Among numerous questions sincerity of my life threw questions to a tree that stands tall. The journey of finding happiness threw numerous questions to a tree of red light. Now, I hope to draw what a momentary tree leaves in my heart as it is. The past tree of urgency and chaos is now a vital tree of brilliance. The past colorful leaves are now the waves of numerous colors. ■ Min Boyoung
