고요의 바다 The Sea of Stillness

고요의 바다는 달의 표면에 있는 달의 바다입니다. 많은 여행 중에 아르메니아의 예레반에서 본 구름 낀 아라랏산의 모습은 나에게는 신화속의 한 장면이었습니다. 카메라를 들고 여행을 한 지도 오년의 시간이 지났습니다. 멀고 낯선 곳으로의 발걸음이지만 떨리고 설레는 마음은 기대감으로 가득 차오릅니다. 여행은 내 삶의 한 장면이기도 합니다. 여행 중 찍은 나의 사진은 신비하고 낯선 신화의 분위기를 닮아가고 있었습니다. 사진을 찍는 순간은 지금도 행복으로 가득합니다. ■ 윤남숙

The Sea of Stillness is the sea on the surface of the moon. Out of many trips I've made, I saw the cloudy Mt. of Ararat in Erevan, Armenia, which was a scene of a myth to me. Five years have passed since I had trips with a camera. Though far and strange, new places have always made my heart leaping with`thrills and throbs. Travelling is a scene of my life, and the pictures I've taken during the trip are resembling the atmosphere of mysterious and strange myth, filling me with pure happiness. ■ YOONNAMSOOK
