2018년도 대구문화재단 가창창작스튜디오 입주작가를 공모합니다. 가창창작스튜디오는 현대미술에 매진하는 젊은 미술작가들에게 창작 공간 및 다양한 프로그램으로 지원을 하고 있습니다. 가창창작스튜디오에서 창작 역량을 발휘할 젊고 열정적인 작가들의 신청을 바랍니다. ■ 대구문화재단

■ 2018 국내 입주작가 공모 □ 모집개요 - 신청자격: 공고일 기준 만 40세 이하의 국내 거주 미술작가 및 큐레이터 - 모집분야   미술작가: 순수미술 전 분야(회화, 사진, 조각, 설치, 영상, 뉴미디어 등)   큐레이터: 미술 전시 및 기획 분야 * 미술작가 및 큐레이터 중복 지원신청 불가 - 모집인원 및 입주기간   모집인원: 10명(작가 9명, 큐레이터 1명)   입주기간: 2018. 1. 1 ~ 2018. 12. 31 * 입주일정은 가창창작스튜디오 상황에 따라 변경될 수 있음

□ 제출서류 - 입주신청서 1부(공통 필수)   첨부 양식(주요경력 및 활동계획서 포함)   가창창작스튜디오 홈페이지에서 양식 다운 ▶ 다운로드 페이지 - 포트폴리오 1부(공통 필수)   작가: PDF 또는 PPT(파워포인트)로 제작한 작품 및 경력소개 자료로 최근 3년간 대표작품 이미지 15점 이내로 첨부   큐레이터: PDF 또는 PPT(파워포인트)로 제작한 기획 및 경력 소개 자료로 최근 3년간 기획 혹은 참여한 전시사진 15장 이내로 첨부 - 평론 및 전시서문 1부(큐레이터 필수)   한글 또는 워드문서로 작성하며 분량 제한 없음 - 동영상 자료 1부(선택)   AVI 파일로 3분 이내의 영상물(100MB 이하) * 참고사항   지원분야에서 미술작가와 큐레이터 중복 지원은 불가합니다.   이미지 및 동영상의 정해진 분량을 초과하지 않도록 유의 바랍니다.   증빙자료(전시도록 등) 및 포트폴리오 원본은 인터뷰 시 지참 가능합니다.   제출서류는 파일로 e-mail 제출하며, 반환되지 않습니다.

□ 심사 및 발표 일정 - 심사방법: 입주작가 선정 심사위원회 심의결정 - 심사절차: 1차 서류적격심사 → 2차 인터뷰 심사 → 최종합격자 발표 - 심사기준: 입주동기, 작가역량, 작업계획, 교류활동계획, 지역기여도 - 인터뷰심사: 2017. 11. 16(목) 예정   * 1차 서류적격심사를 통과한 지원자에게 최종 심사일시, 장소 개별 통지 - 선정발표: 2017. 11. 24(금) 예정   * 선정자 개별 통지 및 대구문화재단, 가창창작스튜디오 홈페이지 공지 * 위 일정은 가창창작스튜디오 상황에 따라 변경될 수 있음

□ 지원사항 - 스튜디오 1인 1실 배정(냉/난방 시설구비, 33~66㎡) * 스튜디오는 대(大) 2실(66㎡), 소(小) 8실(33㎡)이며, 배정은 선정자 순위에 따라 대실부터 차례로 배정 * 스튜디오는 작업 및 연구공간, 숙소로 활용 가능(별도의 숙소 없음) - 창작지원금 매월 30만원 지급 - 체계적인 창작활성화 프로그램 및 인큐베이팅 강화 프로그램

□ 의무사항 및 입주조건 - 가창창작스튜디오 입주작가 이용수칙 준수 및 레지던스 프로그램 이행   (가창창작스튜디오 홈페이지에서 입주안내-이용수칙 참고) - 주 3일 이상 스튜디오를 이용하고 지역 커뮤니티 활성화를 위한   가창창작스튜디오 프로그램에 적극 참여하여야 함 - 반려동물, 영유아 및 동료 등 입주작가 본인 외 체류불가 - 입실 시 아카이빙용 포트폴리오 제출, 퇴실 시 입주활동 기록 도큐멘트 제출 * 프로그램과 운영 및 지원사항에 관해서는 반드시 운영기관의 지침 준수

□ 기타사항 - 심사 합격자는 입주 선정 예정자로 제출 서류에서   의도적인 허위 사실이 발견될 경우 선정을 취소할 수 있습니다. - 가창창작스튜디오의 입주기간 동안 타 레지던스에 동시에 입주하거나   입주예정인 경우 입주 취소 등의 불이익이 발생할 수 있습니다. - 입주작가 공모와 관련하여 기타 궁금한 사항은   대구문화재단 가창창작스튜디오(Tel.053-430-1266)로 문의하시기 바랍니다.

2018 International Artist-in-Residency Program at Gachang Art Studio is now open. Daegu Foundation for Culture recruits International artists for Artist Residency Program. Gachang Art Studio features in contemporary art and offers International residency program. There are programs such as Foreign Artists exchange program, Incubating program, Local community revitalization program and so on. The vision of the project is to enhance the understanding and communication between the artists who are working in Daegu and the internationally invited artists through diverse cultural backgrounds. The organizer of the program expects the diverse background and aesthetic interests of the residents will lead to an exciting and successful exchange, and lasting friendships. ■ 2018 International Artist-in-Residency Program at Gachang Art Studio □ General Guide Line of the Program ○ Qualifications: foreign nationality and overseas residence artists under 40 years old based on the announcement date ○ Field: All areas of Visual Arts(painting, photography, sculpture, installation, film/Video, new media, etc.) ○ Number of recruitment and duration: 6 international artists, in terms of scheduling preferences, please select your first/second/third choice of residency period on your application - 1° / Numbers of artists: 2 / Duration: January 01 - March 31 - 2° / Numbers of artists: 2 / Duration: April 01 - June 30 - 3° / Numbers of artists: 2 / Duration: July 01 - September 30

□ Screening Process and Announcement - Screening Committee will be selected - Artists will be selected through   1st(application screening) → 2nd(portfolio screening) → final announcement ○ Screening schedule: November 24(Fri), 2017. ○ Announcement: via our website on December 24 (Fri), 2017. * The results will be announced individually and on the website of Gachang Art Studio

□ Support ○ One studio per Artist (33㎡, with cooling and heating facility) and one accommodation per Artist ○ Round-trip Airfare (economy seats): international flight only ○ 300,000KRW for monthly support fund    (approximately 278USD per month, it may change depending on currency rate) ○ Solo exhibition by the end of residency program

□ Requirements for the Residency Program ○ Abiding by regulations for Gachang Art Studio's resident artist and performing Residency Program ○ Active participation on Gachang Art Studio programs ○ No pets or children allowed ○ Submit portfolio for archiving when leaving the studio
