For God is Love

나와 내 주변에서 일어나는 모든 일을 이해할 수 있는 패스워드(Pass Word), '이는 하나님은 사랑이시라. For God is Love.'

 'FOR GOD IS LOVE'라는 주제의 이번 전시는 하나님이 우리에게 행하시는 모든 일은 우리를 사랑하시기 때문이라는 내용으로 이루어져 있다. 살아가다보면 때로는 감사한 일들이 일어나고, 때로는 정말 이해하기 힘든 일들이 일어나기도 한다. 그러나 그때마다 '이는 하나님은 사랑이시라_For God is Love' 라는 패스워드를 입력하면 왜 이런 일들이 나에게 일어났을까를 이해할 수 있게 된다. 우리에게 일어나는 모든 일들은 하나님의 나에 대한, 우리에 대한 사랑의 동기로 인해 일어나는 것이기 때문이다. 'FOR GOD IS LOVE'는 성경 말씀에 나온 상황들을 통해 '우리를 향한 하나님의 사랑'을 보여주는 전시이다. 성경 말씀에 나오는 이야기 가운데 주님의 사랑을 크게 느낄 수 있는 대표 이야기들을 선정해서 그림으로 표현해 보았다. 천지를 창조하신 일부터 우리의 죄를 대속하시기 위해 예수님을 이 땅에 보내시고 십자가에 못박히시게 한 일, 그리고 앞으로 회복하시게 될 하나님 나라의 영광에 관한 약속까지의 모든 사건들 안에서 우리를 향한 하나님의 사랑을 많은 사람들과 함께 나누고 싶었다. ■ 서정원

The password that everything can be understood: 'For God is Love' This exhibition, 'FOR GOD IS LOVE', is about God's love in every circumstances. In life, there are thankful moments, but sometimes difficult situations happen that is hard for us to understand. But every time hard things come up, I can comprehend why those happened to me by putting the password 'For God is Love' in the situations. God only lets everything happen in our life because he loves us the most. 'FOR GOD IS LOVE' shows God's love toward us through various stories in the Bible. I tried to express God's love with the main events in the Bible. I wanted to share God's love toward us with more people through the stories from creating the earth, sending Jesus to save us from our sins, and to the promise to restore the glory of God's nation in the future. ■ SEOJUNGWON
