『100x100』은 프로젝트 팀 "100x100 project"의 첫번째 결과물이다. 100x100 project는 'Good for you'라는 슬로건을 가지고 스크린 프린트 매체에 대한 실험을 목표로 2015년 11월부터 활동을 시작했다. 판화라는 매체를 통해 생산한 이미지를 미술 시장에 유통시키고 이를 통해 다시 새로운 생산을 가능하게 하는 순환구조를 모색한다.

'100'이라는 숫자는 1에서 시작해서 98, 99를 지나서 다다르게 되는 단순한 산술적 의미 이상의 상징성을 가지고 있다. 100은 하나의 상징적 의미로서 완전, 충족, 극한의 개념으로서 통용된다. '100'개의 색을 '100'번 중첩시켜서 만들어낸 '100'장의 에디션을 만드는 노동집약적 행위를 통해 이 상징적 의미를 재고한다. 이미지를 단순히 몇가지 색을 통해 보여주는 것을 넘어 두텁게 쌓인 질감 속에 드러난 과정 자체의 의미에 집중한다 ■ 송나래 ,김지영, 유연주, 장서원

『100x100』is the first collaborate work of team "100x100 project". "100x100 project" began their work on November 2015 under the slogan "Good for you" with the vision to creatively experiment with screen printing. The team wishes to distribute their work to the art market and continue to create new work by establishing a virtuous cycle. ● The number "100" has more of a symbolic meaning than just as the arithmetic number after 99. Here, the number "100" symbolizes perfection, satisfaction and extreme. On 『100x100』, you can see the labor-intensive work with the 100 layers of 100 colors on each of the 100 editions. This is not simply to show an image using multiple colors but to present the process in the texture of the thick layers which had to be screened 100 times per piece. ■
