더릿지 354 아트스페이스 1주년 기념전으로 『시간의 축적』展을 엽니다. 시간의 흔적을 담는 세 명 작가의 전시입니다. ● 반복과 증식, 생성과 소멸을 끊임없이 반복하는 나무작업- 차종례 / 무수한 겹과 층위로 시간 그 자체를 짓는 종이작업- 최은정 / 오랜 시간 한권 한권 모여 가득 채워진 책장소유자의 또 다른 형태의 Portrait 사진작업- 임수식 - 이 세 작가들은 시간이야말로 우리가 살아가는 생명력의 절대 조건임을 알기에 시간의 흔적을 각기 다른 형태로 표현합니다. 에너지가 응축된 치열한 시간을 나무에 새겨며, 시간의 흐름을 파동 의 음률로 종이에 담으며, 세상에 하나밖에 없는 절대적 시간을 함축된 이미지로 나타냅니다. ● 이 세 작가들이 이야기하는 각기 다른 시간의 축적을 작품감상을 통해 공감할 수 있는 기회가 되시길 바랍니다. ■ 허선

To mark the first anniversary of its opening, The Ridge 354 Art Space presents The Accumulation of Time, an exhibition that brings together works of three artists who have captured the traces of time. ● Wood work that represents the endless cycles of repetition and proliferation as well as creation and extinction. – Cha Jong-rye / Paper work that builds up time with countless layers – Choi Eun-jung / Photographic portraits of another form by the owner of a bookshelf filled with books that have been collected for a long time – LIM Soo Sik - These three artists represent time in their own distinctive ways, predicated upon their perception that time is an absolute condition of life: engraving time with condensed energy on wood; representing the flow of time with rhythmical waves on paper; and expressing the absolute nature of time with an implicative image. ● It is hoped that you will experience an appreciation of the accumulation of time represented by these three artists through their works. ■ HUH Sun
