한 그루 나무의 나뭇잎 모양은 같으면서도 모두 다 다르게 생겼다. 똑같이 생긴 잎이 어찌 하나도 없다. 모양뿐만 아니라 푸르른 빛의 색도, 바람에 스르륵 흔들리는 소리도, 싱그러운 잎내음도, 보들보들한 감촉도 다르다. 어제 다르고, 오늘 다르고, 내일 또 다르다. 순간순간이 같지 않다. 그 순간을 카메라가 아닌 눈에 담는 것이다. 머리에 담는 것이다. 마음에 담는 것이다. 그러다 보면 어느새, 우리가 잃어버렸던 '보는 즐거움'을 다시 찾을 수 있지 않을까? ● 위이잉 바람 불다가, 파릇 새싹 돋고, 후두둑 비 오다가, 발그레 붉어지고, 맥없이 떨구다가, 바스락 장난치고, 살포시 내리다가, 사르륵 눈 녹는다. ■ 정연지

The leaves on a tree might appear the same but, they are all different. There is not a pair that looks exactly alike. It is not only their shapes that are different but, their green colors, the sound they make as the wind whistles through them, their fresh smell and their soft textures are also different. They change from yesterday to today, and will change again tomorrow. They are different in every moment. I capture those moments, not with a camera, but with my eyes, head and heart. If I keep capturing the moments, maybe I will be able to rediscover the 'joy of seeing,' which has disappeared in our lives. ● The wind blows. Green sprouts grow. The rain drops. The trees blush to red. The leaves fall down helplessly. They rustle and crunch. The snow comes down softly, and then, it melts away quietly. ■ JEONGYEONJI
