□ 목적 - 지역 미술작가에게 창작활동 공간제공으로 미술발전 도모 - 다양한 전시행사를 통해 미술수준 향상과 문화도시 위상 제고

□ 운영개요 ○ 위치 : 청주시 상당구 용암로 55 ○ 입주기간 : 장기 1년, 단기 6개월/ 3개월(2016. 4~2017. 4) / * 예정    - 장기 1년 : 1. 2016.4.22~2017.4.15    - 단기 6개월 : 1. 2016.4.22~2016.10.15/ 2. 2016.10.22~2017.4.15    - 단기 3개월      1. 2016.4.22~2016.7.15 / 2. 2016.7.22~2016.10.15      3. 2016.10.22~2017.1.15 / 4. 2017.1.22~2017.4.15 ○ 운영시간 : 24시간 개방 ○ 입주정원/기간 : 23명 내외(해외작가포함)    - 장기 1년 : 9명(9실)    - 단기 6개월 : 6명(3실)    - 단기 3개월 : 8명(2실) ○ 입주분야 : 평면, 입체, 설치, 영상, 시각미술평론, 프로젝트그룹 등(순수예술분야) ○ 이용료 : 무료 (단 개인이 사용하는 전기, 인터넷등 기타이용료는 부담)

□ 신청 자격 1. 모집공고 일을 기준으로 만 20세 이상 국내외 미술작가(팀) 2. 본 스튜디오에 입주한 경력이 없는 창작활동이 활발한 국내외 미술작가(팀) 3. 관내 거주 작가의 기준은 모집공고일 현재 청주시내에 2년 이상 계속 거주하고 있거나,   과거 3년 이상 거주 하였던 자가 1년 이상 계속 거주하는 자 또는 청주소재 대학을 졸업한 자

■ 2016-2017 Open Call for Artist-In-Residency for Cheongju Art Studio The Cheongju Art Studio is run by the city council of Cheong Ju, Korea. It is designed to provide an ideal working space with diverse programs for both domestic and international artists. The fundamental purpose of the residency is to encourage the artists personal artistic growth and interaction with the works and ideas of fellow artists. Through active discussion they will lead their art creativity and motivation in art. The Cheongju Art Studio accepts about 23 artists each year. Each artist is provided with their own studio a bathroom and a small kitchen area. The studio is spacious with a high ceiling. It is designed as a loft where an artist can work and sleep, and is open 24 hours a day. Each artist will have a solo show with a brochure and promotion. Also artists will participate in several group shows inside and outside of the city. Each year we curate two to three group shows. We also host an open studio and several artists workshops in which artists give public presentations on their work. ■ Cheongju Art Studio
