익명 anonymous

작품의 모델은 작가의 어머니로서, '어머니', '아내' 따위의 사회적 위치 이전에 그녀가 '소녀'따위의 익명적 신분으로 인지되었던 시기를 기본으로 이루어졌습니다. 여러 사회적 신분들에 내포된 사심들을 제거하고자하는 의도로 모노톤을 사용하여 심리학에서 사용되는 'Flat Affect' 적인 감정을 이입하였습니다. 작가 개인의 관점에 기반을 두고 있으나, 작가의 어머니 이전에 그녀를 한명의 일반적 모델로 사용함으로서 이 특정한 감정과 그 감정에서 파생되는 요소들이 보는이로 하여금 시각적으로 공유되고 공감될 수 있기를 희망합니다. ■ 고진영

The model of the series is artist's mother, prior to being identified as any social titles but an anonymous identity such as a girl. The artist attempts to eliminate any preconception attached to such social identities by using monotone; relatively using the 'flat affect'- the term as it is used in psychology - as a basic emotion through out the series. The idea of the series derives from artist's personal feelings. Yet he is singularly generalizing his model to suggest, share, and reflect such emotion on an essential level. ■ Jin young Koh
