꿈을 그리다

사람들은 누구나 꿈을 꾼다. 좋은 꿈도 꾸고 나쁜 꿈도 꾸고 그러면서 내 눈앞에 펼쳐질 미래가 행복하고 아름다운 미래이길 바라면서 그렇게 살아간다. 지금 나 또한 즐겁고 행복한 미래만이 기다리고 있길 바라고 또 희망하면서 그렇게 하루하루를 살아가고 있다. 세상은 역경과 고달픔의 연속일지 모르지만 그 속에서 하나의 숨구멍을 내어주는 그런 그림이 되길 바란다. 보기 좋은 떡이 먹기도 좋다고 좋아 보이고, 나 자신이 진정으로 원하고 바라고 희망하는 것이 무엇인지를 다시금 생각해 볼 수 있게 하는 마음을 담은 그런 그림을 그려 내 작업을 통해 지금은 조금 힘들고 지쳐있을지라도 사랑이 가득한 행복한 미래를 꿈꿀 수 있는 그런 시간을 가질 수 있었으면 한다.

인생에서 경험은 큰 결실이자 새로운 경험의 씨앗이다. 무언가를 꿈꾸고 그것을 향해 나아가다 보면 그 꿈은 열정이란 따뜻한 기운을 받아 꽃을 피우고 그 꽃은 다양한 행운이 찾아오게 만든다. 그 꿈을 이루어 나가는 과정에서 우리는 수 많은 경험들을 하게 되고 그 경험은 쌓이고 쌓여 나를 더 견고하게 만들고 또 다시 나를 새로운 꿈을 꾸게 만든다. 계절의 변화에 반응하고 바뀌는 나무를 보며 내 인생 마인드맵을 그려나가 본다. ■ 이도경

Everyone dreams. We dream of the good and the bad, and we dream of our future. We live life looking forward, a future that we hope is full of happiness and beauty. I'm no different. I live my life dreaming of a future that will bring me great joy. But in that process, our journey is not a smooth one and we're met with a lot of hardships. My hope is that my work will offer you a moment of reprieve, a moment to catch your breath, a moment to reflect on what is truly important to you... I would be honored if sharing my artwork brings you one step closer to the future you desire – one filled with love and happiness. ● Our minds are constantly filled with different thoughts. Sadness, happiness pain, love, memories... There's really no limit. What would you like your mind to be filled with? ● Life is made up of a countless, ever-growing number of experiences. When you have a dream and you work hard to make that dream come true, that effort is fueled by passion. And I believe that if you're passionate, good fortune will follow. Now add experience to that. Experiences that pile up year after year, molding who you are and giving you new perspective – perhaps towards a new dream. As the seasons change, trees change, too.
