심상 心象

꿈과 희망 삶의 고뇌 등이 산적해 있는 내면세계를 그림으로 표현하기란 쉽지 않은 것 같다. 그러나 작품을 통하여 나의 영혼을 표현 할 수 있고 내가 좋아서 할 수 밖에 없는 작업인 만큼 난 행복하다. 일반적으로 나의 작품은 인물의 표정과 몸짓을 통해 그러한 내면세계를 보여주고 있다. 특히, 눈빛은 숨길 수 없는 마음을 비추는 거울이라 생각하기에 나는 인물의 눈을 통해 인간의 희노애락을 표현 하려 한다. ● 나의 작품은 구체적인 인물형태에 추상적인 표현을 대비시키는 이중구조로 심리적 갈등과 몽환적인 이미지를 반영하여 보는 이로 하여금 투명한 감성으로 다가오게 한다. 눈에 보이는 것 보다 보이지 않는 것을 표현 하려 했으며 꿈을 생각하며 행복을 추구하는 과정에서의 애틋함, 그리움, 갈망 그리고 희망을 표현하는데에 주력하고 있다. ■ 이신애

It's not easy to express the deep inside world of dream, hope & life struggles into a drawing. Nevertheless, I'm very happy to be an artist as drawing is the critical means to express my soul; furthermore, it's the very kind of work that I have to do and love. In general, my works of art show the facets of inner world through expressions and actions of the main characters. In particular, I focus on their eyes to express joy, anger, sorrow & happiness as I believe glistening eyes to be the mirrors on our hearts hard to hide from however we try. ● My works are composed of two contrasting structures or character's physical features & abstract expressions reflecting psychological conflict and dreamy fantastical imagery, thus delivering transparent sensibility to the viewers. I've endeavored to picture what's not revealing to our eyes than what's apparently out in showing; in addition, I'm exerting myself to put out plaintiveness, longing, yearning and hope occurring while thinking of dream and pursuit of happiness. ■ LEESHINAE
