ESsense/감각의 본질

제2회 국제 건축가 드로잉전의 주제는 Essence(본질) 와 Sense(감각)을 합성한 "ESsense/감각의 본질"로 기존의 구상과 코드화 되어있는 현상으로서의 예술로부터 벗어나고자 하는 취지에서 시작한 것이다. 인간에게는 5감(시각, 청각, 후각, 미각, 촉각)이 있다. 이러한 감각은 신체의 적합자극에 의해 흥분하고 작동한다. 다시 말해 인간의 자극 인지는 이 오감에 의해서만 일어난다. 기존의 예술이 재현의 논리에 주로 의미를 두었다면, 이번 전시는 감각의 본질을 통한 재현, 즉 비가시적 힘과 생성을 표현하는 "감각형상"을 표출 시키고자 하는 것이다. ● 질 들레즈의 회화론에서도 감각형상에 대하여 프란시스 베이컨의 작품을 대상으로 하여 "감각 자체를 그리는 것" 또는 "그림의 대상으로서의 감각"으로 설명한 바 있다. 이는 추상도 구상도 아닌 새로운 표현형식으로 '리오타르의 figural(형상성)'를 통해 분명하게 표시하고 있다. 즉 신체에 의하여 조건 지워지고 또한 이러한 흥분과 히스테리의 힘에 의한 창조적 발작현상은 새로운 예술 작품을 태동 시키게 된다는 것이다. 굳이 들레즈의 이론을 바탕으로 하지 않아도 우리에게 내재 되어있는 감각을 기본으로 비재현적 형상개념의 작업들을 건축가들에 의하여 자유롭게 표현될 수 있도록 기획한 것이다. The subject of 2nd international architect drawing exhibition is 'ESsense', a mixed word using 'essence' and 'sense', to be against the art as a phenomenon of existing design and encoding. For a human being, there are five senses. These are operated by synaptic stimulate. Unlike existing art focuses on the logic behind reproduction, this exhibition tries to recreate through essence of sense, expressing 'sensation phenomenon' for invisible power and creation. ● Gilles Deleuze mentioned Francis Bacon's work to explain the phenomenon, which is 'drawing sense itself' or 'sense as an object of painting'. It is a new expression, not abstraction or representation, according to Liotard's figural. Again, condition is deleted by a body, and creative motivation by stimulate and hysteria produces a new art work. Based on inner senses in a body, artworks in non re-creational configuration concept are expressed by architects in this exhibition. (2013. 02) ■ WOOKYUNGKOOK
