Small Masterpiece

롯데 갤러리 잠실점과 광복점에서는 특별전으로 국내 작가 110여명의 작품 약 300점을 선보이는『Small Masterpiece』展을 마련하였습니다. ● 이번 전시는 풍경화, 인물화, 팝 아트 등 다양한 장르의 국내 작가들이 모여 그들의 예술적 특징과 경향을 한눈에 볼 수 있는 자리입니다. 작가들은 약 3호 크기의 작은 화폭에 처음 미술을 시작 할 때 캔버스와 마주했던 설레임과 그 동안에 쌓아온 작품 세계를 고스란히 담아 놓았습니다. 이 작품들은 자신에게 혹은 가까운 지인들에게 뜻깊고 특별한 선물이 되고, 일반인들이 미술 작품과 더욱 가까워지는 계기가 될 것입니다. ● 작은 촛불의 따스함이 큰 공간을 채우듯, 작지만 대작 못지않은 힘을 지닌 명작들을 한 곳에서 만나보는 특별한 시간이 되시길 바랍니다. ■ 롯데갤러리

Lotte Gallery Jamsil and Gwangbok branch are presenting the special exhibition, "Small Masterpiece," with 300 works of 100 Korean artists. ● This exhibition shows the works of domestic artists in various genres, such as landscape, portraits, and pop art, offering a chance to observe their artistic characters and trend at once. ● The works in the exhibition are done on small canvas that size about 22x27cm. It represents the time of excitement that the artists first stepped into art world, and also the time that have passed by, building their careers as artists. ● These works not only become a special and meaningful present to the artist and their close friends, but also offering a chance to general audience to meet with a special art. ● As the light of one small candle can fill up a whole space, we hope this exhibition can present a time to experience the power of small masterpieces that are just as special as works on bigger canvas. ■ Lotte Gallery
