불혹이 넘어서는 자신의 모습에 그 삶이 투영되듯, 모든 자연 또한 어떤 형태로든 그들 삶의 흔적을 남기는 것 같다. 잎새 작업! 조금 떨어져 보기도 하고, 다시 파고들기를 몇 번... 그 부대끼는 시간들이 사랑이 되었을까... 어느 날 문득 돌아보니 이제 잎새는 '너'와'나' 그리고 '우리'의 모습을 투영하며 내 앞에 다가왔다. 사랑이 깊어지면 많은 말보다 깊은 눈길하나면 충분하듯, 내가 하고 있는 이 단순화 작업... 무언가를 욕심껏 채우는 것보다 그것을 버리는 것이 더욱 힘듦을 깨닫게 될 즈음 나는 또 다시 새로움을 갈망해 본다. ■ 박승만
