Linked Landscape ● 드라마 세트 건설현장, 그 완성되지 못한 어설픈 공간에 이민호는 빠져든다. 그 세트장에 건설장비들이, 버려진 쓰레기들이, 그 공간에 어울리지 않는 일상의 사물들이 같이 있어 혼란스럽다. 그런데 요염하게 고양이가, 엉뚱하게 백마와 기린 같은 동물들이, 그리고 해골까지 같이 있어 여기가 어디인가 싶다. 이상한 장소이다. ● 한 공간에서 여러 장면을 연출시켜내야 하는 드라마 세트장. 수시로 가벽을 옮기고 무쌍히 변화를 연출해내야 하는, 가변성을 요구하는 공간이 바로 드라마 세트장이다. 이 '가변성 요구'가 이민호의 감성을 자극하여, 적극적으로 끼어들게 만든다.

드라마는 현실에 상상세계를 조합해 내며 또 다른 세계를 구성한다. 순간 나타났다가 꿈과 같이 사라져 버리는 그 세트장의 상황들! 여기저기 펑 뚫린, 확 터진 거기에 가공의 상황들이 마구 침투한다. '공간연출가'이며 '공간해석자'인 이민호가 개입하는 것이다. 이 개입은 대상인 그 상황들에 침투함으로 인해 새로운 공간들이 창출될 것이라는 생각에서 기인한다. ● 갑자기 빈 창틀로 이미지들이 뛰어든다. 강물이, 바다가, 구름이, 비행기, 연꽃, 풍선들이 끼어들며 기존의 것들과 뒤섞이니, 기괴함과 엉뚱함이 느껴진다. '낯선 풍경'이다. 그녀의 기억과 추억이 연결되고, 일상과 일탈이 연결되는 그곳에 그녀가 욕망하는 場이 펼쳐진다. 그곳은 정착의 공간이 아니다. 유목민적 공간이다. 실제 삶에는 없는 가상의 삶들이 빠른 속도로 변화되며 나타나고 지워진다. 한 순간에 풍경이 바뀌며 욕망하는 무한의 세계가 드러내지기도 한다. 생소함과 그 의외성이 충동하며 익숙한 것들과 공존하다가 또 갑자기 변조되어 버린다. 전략적 공간들이다. 미지를 생성시켜 미묘한 느낌들이 발생한다. 시선 안으로 다가선 듯, 그러나 다시 저쪽으로 밀쳐지며 사라지기도 한다. 무쌍하다. 그래서 홀린 듯 어지럽다.

여기 창틀 안으로 '끼어든' 풍경이 있다. 작가가 '접속한 풍경'이다. 사이버 공간의 이미지들을 '클릭'해 다른 차원으로 '링크' 시켜 펼쳐낸 세계이다. 순간순간 바꾸어 보면서, '이 공간'에 '저 시간'을 '링크' 시켜가면서, 열린 공간이 확장 공간으로 발전하면서, 낯선 풍경을 연출한다. 우리시대의 감성체계가 요구하는 세계이다. Linked Landscape이다. ■ 트렁크갤러리

In an instant, replacing scenery, the desirable world of infinite has revealed. Unfamiliarity and unexpectedness impulse, coexist, and them suddenly is modulated. It's a strategic space.
