인간이 태어나서 느끼는 감정들이 혹, 타인을 향해 새로운 관점으로 나아가야 할때 우리는 혼란속에 빠지곤 한다. 새롭게 만들어낸 생명들은 상황에 맞게 대처할 수 있게 만들어 내려 한다. 인간관계에서 원래가 느끼는 감정들을 이성과 감정으로 본인이 느끼는 새로운 생명으로 만들어 내 본인이 의미를 부여하고자 한다.

내면에서 느껴지는 감정을 나의 화면에 자연과 세계로 말한다. 순간적인 공간을 개인의 경험과 사고를 통해 시대성을 반영하고자 하며 그 시대성은 현대사회라는 커다란 테두리 안에서 사람들이 느끼는 이중구조이다. 과거에 길들여 왔던 자신의 현재를 깨닫는 순간 화면에서 좀 더 강하게 이성과 감성 속 이야기를 한다. 현재의 이성과 감성에 깊이 동요되어 마치 다른 공간에서 새로운 현재를 살고 있는 것, 현실의 공간을 형성하는 곳과 과거의 공간을 형성하는 곳을 만들어 내는 곳 좀더 자유로워질 수 있는 그 곳이 본인의 작업 속 공간이다. 그 공간속에 이성, 감성 그리고 과거와 현재를 소통할 수있는 과정이다. 그안에서 새롭게 만들어 냄 뭔가가 있다면 그것 역시 과거, 현재, 미래를 어느 한 공간에 몰아 넣어 감성에 바탕을 둔 표현을 한 화면에 보여주고 있다. 그 이중성은 감성과 이성의 대립을 의미히기도 하고 일상에서 일어나는 크고 작은 일들의 감정을 현재 진행형의 형태들로 만들어 진다.

본인의 작업 형태들은 주로 생명체의 변형과정을 주 형태로 이룬다. 그 형체들은 본인이 만들어 가는 거친 형태들도 있고 착한형태들도 있다. 인간들이 가지고 있는 각가지 성향들과 감정을 이번전시에서는 더욱더 병적인 요소들을 나타내고자 한다. 지금까지는 비밀스럽게 숨겨왔다면 새로운 감정의 형체들을 드러내고자 한다. ■ 김연

We will fall into disorder when the feelings we have had since our birth are about to head forward, sometimes, to others with a new viewpoint. The newly created lives are trying to cope with situations. I myself try to assign a meaning to the feelings we gets to have in the relationships by converting them to a new life with my reason and emotion. ● I tell, with nature and world, the emotion I feel from within through my screen. I am trying to reflect the spirit of the time by sensing momentary space through personal experience and thought, and that spirit of the time is a dual structure which people feel within the big limit of the modern society. Upon realizing the present of my own which has been tamed since the past, I tell the stories inside the reason and emotion through the screen a little more strongly. That place is the space deep inside of my own work where I can be freer by living the new present in another space by being touched at the present reason and emotion and also by forming the space of reality and making what is forming the space of the past and . It is the process for me to be able to communicate with the past, the present and the reason and emotion in the space. I, when there is anything to be newly made in there, show the expression based on the emotion by driving the past, the present and the future into a space. That duplicity not only means the conflict of reason and emotion but also makes the major and minor events occurring in daily life into the forms of the present progressive. ● The forms of my work are mainly composed of the changing process of living things. Some of the forms are rough and others nice. I will describe more morbid elements of all kinds of man's prepositions and emotions at this exhibition. I will reveal the styles of new emotions even though I have hidden them clandestinely. ■ kim yeon
