웅크린 내면의 어두움.인간은 스스로 원하는 만큼 자유롭지 않다. 집단생활을 통해 보호 받고 안정감을 느낀다. 무리를 이탈한다는건 곧 죽음을 의미한다. 표정이 삭제된 유기적 형체에서 인간의 모습을 찾고 현실과 비현실의 조화속에서 몽환적인 풍경을 연출하고자 한다. 자신을 드러내지 못한채 무리속에 함몰되어 버리는. 함께 있으면서도 그 군중속에 혼자일 수 밖에 없는 현대인의 고독... ■ 이혜선
