From All Thoughts Everywhere 'FATE'이것은 '운명'이라는 뜻이다. 또한 이것은 매트릭스 라는 뜻 도 내포되어 있다. 인간은 태어나면서 부터 끊임없이 어떤 시스템의 통제하에 입력되어 성장한다. 스스 로 녹음되어 지는것조차 인식하지 못한채 그렇게 무의식적으로 끊임없이 조종되어 진다. 그렇다면 이것 만이 전부일까? 그 가운데 인간 본래의 자의식은 어떤 역할을 수행할까? 과연 본래의 자의식이란게 존 재하기나 한 것일까? 이 질문에 대한 끊임없는 연구가 내 작업의 핵심이다. ● 이 이야기는 너무도 흥미진진하여 나의 대변인 오토포이 박사가 등장했다. 온 세상은 알 수 없는 눈에 보 이지 않는 에너지들로 가득하며 이것은 멈추어 있지 않으며 늘 어떤 힘에 의해 패턴화 되어진다. 이 패 턴이 궁극적으로 온 우주를 설명하는 방식이기도 하다. ● 내가 바라보는 세상은 컬러풀하고 괴기스러운 에너지들이 요동치며 뛰어다니는 세상이다. 이것은 단순 이미지가 아니며 나의 이미지를 나도 모르게 만들어내는 어떤 근원적인'힘'이다. 세상에서 가장 아름다운 꽃은 우주의 우스꽝스러운 파동과 법칙에서 피어난 꽃이다. ■ 김동현

the alchemist of energy combinations, "dr. autopoi" ● kim donghyun is looking for universal principles that hold the universe together and make everything flow the way things do. the inter-disciplinary approach leads to results which are fun and philosophical at the same time. ● "the universe is following the principles of self-organization by variously changing and by getting more and more complex. ● dr. autopoi has decided to build a space ship, a new noah's ark, after receiving – via telepathy - and deciphering information from a dead alien robot body, which holds the secret of the universe. he will board different kinds of energy in this space ship and the combination of these 'energies' will create a new cosmic form of life. this highly evolved creature will lead to a new era of change in the whole universe. a universe, full with dynamic movements – this is what I mean by 'amusement'. ● sometimes I'm too sensitive to understand the real world in the right way. but because I am aware of this I try to use this actively as a kind of motivation instead of sinking in resignation. my point of view on the world, this is the story that I want to tell through my work. the story is a quite interesting one, so that dr. autopoi came to life as my spokesperson. this world is filled with unknown and unseen energies and they never stop to move. and some day I realized that this is 'amusement', which doesn't mean the simple pleasures or fun that we understand. all the academic achievements by humans, such as counterpoint in music, geometry, philosophy and physics, are some kind of games and plays as expressions of these energy combinations. ultimately they mean the final supreme line of the whole universe evolving in a certain direction. I also realized that social roles, science, religions and even wars are basic adaptions of the 'game'. everybody wants to play. my work follows the curiosity about this basic amusement and it seems that this is the only code how to make people happy. the world that I look upon is a colorful one, where strange monsters stroll. this is not a simple image, for my images come from a deep rooted force that I don't really understand. ● the most beautiful flower of the world is the one that is created from the ludicrous waves and rules of the universe." ■ KIMDONGHYUN
