지-루한 글쓰기(Boooooring Writing)

지-루한 글쓰기 ● '지-루한 글쓰기'란 나에게 그리기 행위와 같다는 형태의 '쓰기'이다. 글쓰기의 저작행위나, 그리기와 같은 활동이 등가적 형태를 띠고 있다는 것이다. 한줄 한 줄씩 써내려가는 텍스트는 변용을 통해, 지속적인 선들의 그어나가기로 변주되어 행해진 드로잉과 사물들로 전시는 이루어진다. 바닥에 저작된 드로잉은 타대상의 개입으로 이루어진 동선들로 인해 지워져 그 흔적만 있는 것으로, 다른 저작활동이 발생되는 작품으로 만들어진다. 이것은 경험됨으로써만 존재하게 되는 '생체적 체험'으로 정의되는 것으로, 독자와 텍스트 사이의 조응점을 이해할 수 있는 실마리를 제공한다.

바르트는 텍스트(Text)를 두 가지로 구분하고 있다. '읽혀지는' 텍스트와 '쓰여지는' 텍스트이다. 현대 자본주의 시장경제 용어를 사용하여, 첫 번째 종류의 텍스트는 '소비되어지는 것'으로, 독자가 책을 읽는 동안 아무런 충격 없이 언어를 소비하여 '버리는' 소위 인스턴트 텍스트를 이른다. 그러나 두 번째 텍스트에서 독자는 읽어 가는 동안 단속적인 충격을 지속적으로 받음으로, 독서 방법에 있어 직선적인 시간의 흐름의 방법을 거부하게 된다. 이 때 발생하는 '틈' 사이를 독자 자신의 텍스트로 '재생산해 내는' 반성적인 텍스트가 생겨난다.

삶을 이루는 모든 것들이 텍스트성을 지니고 있고, 자연히 의미화 관계를 내포하게 된다고 한다. 열린 경계를 가졌고, 산재한 정보를 가졌으며, 이런 움직임이 지속적으로 이어지는 파동들을 통한 유기적 형성을 장시간 지속시켜옴으로 작업을 형성한다.

유기적 변형이 일어나는 생명체(유기적 생명체·유기적 이미지)의 표현과 텍스트 드로잉으로 일반적 소통구조를 벗어나 상호텍스트적 방향을 불러일으켜 새로운 저작자가 생겨나도록 유도하였다. 지속적인 파동들은 유기적 형성을 지연시키므로 파생 텍스트의 발생을 만들기 위함이고, 이로 인한 잉여생산은 새로운 가치를 가능케 해준다. ■ 이충우

Boooooring Writing ● 'Booooring writing' is another form of 'composing' that is just like my drawing. Writing work and drawing work have same equivalent forms. Through acculturations, writing a line after another will be played as a variation of drawing lines continuously. The exhibition is composed of drawings and objects created by such acculturation. Lines on the floor is only left of its traces because they were erased by movements of other objects. They are only created by other composing activities. It can be defined as a 'somatic experience' that exists only with experiences. It provides clues for corresponding points between readers and text. ● Barth defines 'text' in two meanings: 'read' text and 'written' text. Using the market economy terms of the present capitalism, the first type of text is 'consumed'. It refers to so-called instant text that a reader reads without any impacts and consumes and 'throws out' the languages within the text. However, the second text provides continuous intermittent impacts while a reader is reading it. It rejects the forthright time flow method of reading. Then, such created 'gaps' are 'reproduced' with unique text of the reader, and reflective text is created. ● All compositions of life has quality of text, and therefore, they naturally have implicit signification relations. Work was created with long-lasting organic formations of shocks that has open boundaries, living information and constant moves. ● The work intended to create new writers by breaking general communication structures and causing intertextual directions with expressions of organically modified living things (organic living things·organic images) and text drawings. Constant delaying organic formations are for the creation of shock text, and related surplus productions enables creation of new values. ■ YI C-WOO
