맨드라미, 이야기 ● 나의 이야기를 쓰고 사람들과 공유하는 일. 이처럼 일기를 쓰듯 나를 보여주는 작업은 나와 그림을 감상하는 사람들 서로가 서로에게 관심을 갖고, 관계를 회복하거나 재정립해 나가는 하나의 방식이다.

스스로에게 건네는 맨드라미 이야기 ● 스물두살의 의자와 스물네살의 화분, 스물일곱살의 풍경. 늘 어디에서나 볼 수 있어 스쳐지나갈 수 있는 의자와 화분들을 주관적인 시각으로 묘사한다. 화면에 모아진 사물들은 일상생활의 경험을 환기시키는 재료들로써, 나에게 각별한 의미가 있다.

나의 그림은 순간의 감정과 나의 일기를 기록하는 곳이 되며, 나와 그들과의 관계, 스쳐지나가는 시간을 담아 사물의 내면성을 표현하는 것이다. 르네위그가 "색채는 영혼의 깊은 곳에서 불러일으키는 울림이다."라고 한 것처럼 실제의 고유색과 다른 강렬하고 임의적인 색으로 나의 기억 속에 각인되어 있는 색의 심리적인 환기를 통해 의미를 첨가하고 다양한 조형어법으로 나와 내 주위 사물들의 시적인 교감을 나누는 작업을 하는 것이다. ■ 한선희

Cockscomb, story ● Writing about my stories and sharing them with others. Revealing myself, such as when I write a journal, is one way to make me and those who appreciate my paintings grow interested in each other, and improve or reestablish our relationships. Cockscomb story to tell myself ● A 22 year old chair, a 24 year old flowerpot, and a 27 year old landscape The chairs and flowerpots which are hardly noticeable because they are so common and ordinary are portrayed through my subjective eyes. The objects collected on the canvas are the materials that remind me of the everyday experiences, and they mean something special to me. ● My paintings are where I record my momentary feelings and keep a journal. They are the means to express the interiority of an object by holding the time passing by. As Rene Huyghe once described that colors are the echo stirred up from the bottom of the soul, it is to add meanings through psychological evocation of the colors imprinted in my memory as intense and arbitrary colors different from the original colors and to share the poetic feelings between the objects surrounding me and myself through abstractive expressions. ■ HANSUNHEE
