어린이 워크샵 창작기획안 국제공모전

2014년 광주에서 개관될 국립아시아문화전당에서는 어린이를 대상으로 하는 워크샵 프로그램의 기획안을 국제공모합니다. 국립아시아문화전당은 아시아문화중심도시 조성사업의 핵심시설로 세계적으로도 그 유례를 찾을 수 없는 대규모 복합문화시설입니다. 민주평화교류원, 아시아문화정보원, 문화창조원, 아시아예술극장, 어린이문화원 등 다섯 개의 원으로 구성되며, 각 원간 교류와 협력의 선순환 구조를 통해 아시아 문화를 세계에 알리는 문화발전소의 역할을 담당합니다. 특히 예술적 창의성과 첨단기술이 결합한 문화예술 콘텐츠를 창출하여 아시아 각 국의 문화예술자원, 예술가기관들이 네트워크를 통해 교류하는 그 중심에 자리하겠습니다. 어린이문화원은 미래를 이끌어갈 어린이들을 위한 공간이자 문화발전소입니다. 어린이들이 풍부한 감성과 창의적인 사고로 세상을 획일적이지 않게 바라볼 수 있도록 다양한 문화 환경을 제공합니다. 시간과 공간, 주제와 소재에 얽메이지 않는 문화예술콘텐츠를 제작하고 이를 경험하게 함으로써 세상은 스스로 어린이들에게 다가갑니다. 어린이문화원은 독창적인 문화예술콘텐츠를 경험하는 장인 동시에 어린이를 위한 콘텐츠를 창작하고 확산시키는 문화 첨병의 역할을 수행합니다. 어린이 문화예술콘텐츠 개발의 일환으로 진행되는 어린이 워크샵 프로그램은 선생님과 어린이들이 능동적으로 만들어나가는 미래형 교육 프로그램입니다. 참여자 사이의 밀접한 커뮤니케이션을 통해 새로운 시각에서 문제를 이해하고 다양한 해결방법을 제시할 수 있습니다. 또래친구들과의 소통은 사회성을 발달시키기에 적합합니다. 본 국제공모전은 어린이를 위한 워크샵 프로그램으로 기획되었습니다. 공모를 통해 선발된 프로그램을 어린이들과 함께 진행해 봄으로써 프로그램 개발과 운영의 가능성을 검토하고 그 노하우를 공유합니다. 또한 참신한 아이디어와 역량있는 작가들을 발굴하여 어린이 워크샵 프로그램이 지속될 수 있는 토양을 다지고자 합니다. 續 2010년 어린이 워크샵의 주제는 『續 이을:속 / Sustainable』입니다. 주제어를 다양하게 해석하는 작가의 눈을 통해 각양각색의 의미들이 생성되어 창의적인 프로그램으로 잉태되는 밀알이 되기를 희망합니다. 작가 여러분들의 많은 참여를 기대합니다. 이 땅의 어린이들은 해야할 것들이 너무 많습니다. 아직은 세상에 궁금한 것들이 아주 많아서 보고, 듣고, 만지고, 묻고 싶은데 그럴만한 시간도 여유도 없이 학원을 전전합니다. 정말 하고 싶은 것이, 궁금한 것이, 갖고 싶은 것이 무엇이냐고 아무도 되묻지 않습니다. 어린이문화원은 빛이 되고자 합니다. 어린이들에 의해, 어린이들을 위한 프로그램이 어린이들에게 다양한 세상을 만나는 창이 되고 햇살이 되도록 만들어 나가겠습니다. ■

2. 심사 및 시상 심사방법 1. 해외 작가군 : 1차 작가군 평가, 5팀 선발 → 2차 기획안 수렴 및 평가 → 최종 3팀 선발               2. 국내 작가군 : 1차 기획안 평가, 5팀 선발 → 2차 프리젠테이션 평가 → 최종 2팀 선발              + 최종 선발된 5팀에게 워크샵 프로그램 진행 기회를 부여함 심사기준 1. 작가군의 경력 및 커뮤니케이션 능력 평가               2. 기획안의 내용 : 주제/소재의 적합성, 교육적 효과, 차별화 및 현실화 가능성               3. 기획안의 잠재성 : 참신성, 지역 연계 가능성, OSMU활용 가능성 시상규모 + 최종 선정 시, 기획안을 바탕으로 한 실제 워크샵을 개최하며 비용 일체를 지원함.              - 1차 선정대상 : 한화 1,000,000원 (총10팀)              - 최종 선정대상 : 한화 1,000,000원 (총5팀)              - 워크샵 진행을 위한 경비 일절 지원 (작가군 여비 및 숙박비 포함)

3. 워크샵 운영 방안 워크샵 진행 일정 워크샵은 각 팀별 1회, 총 5차에 거쳐 진행되며 6월 1주~7월 4주 까진 진행될 예정.                           (구체적 일정은 추후 협의) 워크샵 대상 대한민국 8세~13세의 어린이, 5인~15인으로 구성(기획안의 내용에 따라 구성인원 변경) 전시계획 + 워크샵 결과물을 토대로 2회의 전시회 개최               기간 : 2010년 9월               장소 : 서울 이화여자대학교 ECC 및 광주 쿤스트할레 각 1회 (총 2회) 유의 사항 + 작가군 본인의 순수 창작물이 아닌 경우 수상이 취소될 수 있음.                + 입상한 기획안은 본 프로젝트의 결과물로 인쇄되어 출판될 예정임.                + 입상 후 워크샵을 진행하기 위한 의견 조율 과정에서 작가군은 본 사업을 진행하는                주체의 의견을 수렴할 의무가 있음

The Asian Culture Complex (ACC), due to open in Gwangju in 2014, is holding an international competition for original programs for children's workshops. The ACC, a core facility in the Hub City of Asian Culture Project, is a multi-functional culture complex, unprecedented in its scale. It consists of five centers, including the Cultural Creation Center, Asian Culture Information Center, Cultural Exchange Center, Asian Arts Theater and Children Art-Culture Center. The ACC will conduct exchange and cooperation, acting as a cultural powerhouse to promote Asian culture around the world. In particular, it seeks to emerge as the hub in a network for the exchange of and between cultural arts resources, artists and institutions, enabled by the creation of culture and arts content that combines artistic creativity and cutting-edge technology. The Children Art-Culture Center is a space for children and a cultural powerhouse for future generations. It will provide a varied cultural environment to help children think outside the box and look at the world with sensitivity and creativity. It will produce culture and arts content that is unconstrained by time, space, theme or material and help children experience the content so that the world around them will be brought closer to home. The Children Art-Culture Center will play a dual role: it will be a place for children to experience original culture and arts content; and it will also be a cultural leader in creating and disseminating content for children. The children's workshop programs, implemented to promote the development of culture and arts content for children, are intended to be future-oriented educational programs brought to life through proactive interaction between instructors and children. They should help participants look at issues from new perspectives and come up with various solutions through close communication between themselves. As is widely known, communication with peers is a key tool for the development of social skills in children. This international competition calls for entries of such children's workshop programs. The programs selected through the competition will be conducted with children to determine the realizability of the programs and their operation. The knowhow gained from this experience will be shared. The competition also aims to find novel ideas and talented artists to be part of the foundation of many more children's workshop programs to come. The theme of the 2010 workshops for children is "Sustainable." The ACC looks forward to the many interpretations that artists will make of the theme and the different meanings they will find, which will ultimately lead to the birth of creative workshop programs. Today, the heavy emphasis on academic study often leaves children with very little free time. Children are curious about the world and are eager to explore and ask questions, but their studies in and out of school do not allow them the time to do so. It seems no one is asking them what their real interests, questions and needs are. The Children Art-Culture Center seeks to be a guiding light for children. Its programs, made by and for children, will be sunlit windows of opportunity for them to explore new worlds. We look forward to the participation of many exciting artists in this competition. ■

2. Evaluation and Award Evaluation method 1.
