"Creatures of Habit" "습관의 존재들" 『Creatures of Habit』(습관의 존재들) 展은 다국적 작가들의 모임인 "International Artists Community"의 두번째 전시이다. 이번 전시는 음악가와 행위예술가와 더불어 24명의 다국적 작가들로 구성되었다. 음악가와 행위예술가들의 다양한 오프닝 이벤트가 마련되었다. 또한 4월10일과 11일 오후 2시부터 7시까지 두개의 주말 이벤트가 있을 예정이다. 주말 이벤트는 (Sunken Gardens) SK HUB Plaza 에 위치한 제이 갤러리 밖의 마당에서 마련된다.

이번 전시의 주제는 습관에 관한 것이다. 습관들은 때로는 우리 자신을 드러내기도 하고 우리를 파멸시키기도 우리를 만들기도 한다. 습관들로 인해 우리는 건강해 지기도 불행해 지기도 한다. 습관은 우리 삶속에서 개인적인 것과 문화적인 양상 모두를 드러낸다. 널리 사회적으로 수용되는 습관들은 도저히 받아들이기 참을 수 없는 것도 있다. 어떤 습관들은 누군가가 원하거나 특정 목적에 의해 원해지거나 받아들여지거나 또는 사라지기도 한다. 우리들은 습관의 노예이다. 당신은 습관의 굴레로부터 벗어날수도 벗어나지 못할수도 있다…. ■ 리처드 존 버몬트

『Creatures of Habit』 is the second exhibition to be held by the "International Artists Community". It features the work of 24 Korean and International artists, performers and musicians. ● The opening event will include a variety of entertainment by musicians and performing artists. Two events will also be staged on Saturday 10th April & Sunday 11th April (2:00pm-7:00pm). These will take place in the "Sunken Gardens" (Outside Jay Gallery) and in "SK HUB Plaza" ● The Theme of the Show is "Habits". Habits shape us, make us, mold us and sometimes break us. They make us healthy, wealthy and wise or sometimes destroy us. Some habits change from being widely socially acceptable to barely tolerable. Other habits come from nowhere and suddenly everyone's got it or wants it or knows someone who had it but lost it. Habits: make them, break them, love them or hate them but you can't escape them or can you… ■ Richard J. Beaumont

* Guests will be able to meet the artists and see them at work; participate in a number of exciting activities; enjoy some traditional tea in the "Urban Tea Shop" and enjoy diverse entertainment by performance artists.
