多색多감Ⅳ – My Story

차가운 공기가 지난 여름 오색영롱한 빛을 추억하게 하는 이 계절, 다양한 색과 다양한 감성을 주제로 역량 있는 작가들의 다채로운 작품들을 선보이는 갤러리 잔다리의 연례 기획전 『多색多감』이 그 네 번째 이야기 "My Story"를 속삭인다. 170여 점의 작품들을 모아 하나의 조각보로 형상화한 첫 번째 『多색多감』의 풍성함으로 돌아간 이번 전시는 회화, 사진, 조각, 판화, 드로잉 등 90여 점의 개성 넘치는 작품들로 구성되며, 이는 서른 명 작가들의 서른 가지 이야기로 피어난다.

우리가 보고 느끼며 향유하는 여러 작품들은 우리의 감성을 자극하는 한편 그것은 또한 작가 개인의 이야기를 말하고 있다. 다루는 주제나 질료는 서로 다른 결과를 낳지만, 공통적으로 작품은 개인이 소유한 일상이자 역사이며, 개인의 사고와 탐구, 열망의 표현 그것에 다름 아니다. 이 지극히도 개인적인 결과물인 작품이 우리의 가슴에 와 닿는 이유는 작가의 이야기 속에서 이를 바라보는 이의 개인적인 이야기 어딘가가 오버랩 되어 또 하나의 이야기를 만들어내기 때문이다. 그 접점 어딘가에서 작가가 그림 한 점에 담아놓은 이야기는 곧 나의 이야기가 된다.

알록달록 사탕들 사이에서 무엇을 고를지 몰라 망설이는 아이처럼, 30명의 작가가 서른 가지의 방식으로 전하는 색색의 다양한 감성이 多色多感한 이야기 속에서 내게 꼭 맞는 그림을 찾는 행복한 고민에 빠져보길 권한다. 이에 한가지 즐거움을 더하고자 마련한 미니옥션 『It's mine!』은 작품 구매의 부담과 어려움을 다소나마 탈피하고 미술을 향유하고 직접 소유해 보는 쏠쏠한 재미를 부여할 것이다. 깊어가는 한 해의 결실이 될 이번 전시의 다채로운 향연 속에서 나와 당신의 이야기를 주고 받길 기대해 본다. ■ 장미령

Da Saek Da Gam Ⅳ – My Story ● While chilly breeze reminiscing fluorescence of last summer, the 4th annual exhibition 『Da Saek Da Gam』 featuring various works of talented artists whispers "My story." Going back to the fruitful patchwork with about 170 works at the first 『Da Saek Da Gam』, this year's exhibition is organized with 90 distinctive works of paintings, photography, sculptures, prints, and drawings. Thirty artists are blooming thirty different stories. ● The works we are looking, feeling and enjoying induce our emotions but they also talk about their own stories. Subjects or materials bear various outcomes; however, commonly the artist's work itself is his/her daily life and history, consideration and pursuit, expression of passion. The reason why we empathize with these extremely private reflections of the artists is that the viewer's own story is overlapping the story inside the work creating another tale. At point somewhere, the tale of artist in the frame becomes our own story. ● Like a child hesitating to pick in front of luminously shining candies, I recommend you to choose your destined painting at multi-colorful exhibition with various stories by 30 artists. To add one more joy for the visitors, the mini auction 『It's mine!』 is scheduled. * Da Saek Da Gam 『多색多감』 is a word meaning multi color and multi sentiments. In Korean connotation, pronunciation of the word is very rhythmic highlighting "multi."
