빛과 마음의 소리(In my mind)

길을 걸어갑니다. 그리고 원을 그어가는 그곳에 마음의 소리를 담아갑니다. 한 길을 걸아가는 것, 끊임없이 주어진 숙제속에서 때론 빛과 그림자를 만나게 됩니다. 하나를 향해 가는 과정, 보이지 않는 것을 보아야 하고, 들리지 않는 것을 듣는 과정인듯 합니다. 보이지 않는 빛을 향해가는 과정은 구도자를 향해 나가는 과정인 듯합니다. 완전한 하나를 이루기는 어렵지만 마음의 평온함을 느꼈으면 합니다. ● 비록 작은 존재에 불과한 하나의 생명이지만 사람의 만남을 통해서 성장하는 과정을 거치면서 느껴지는 선의 움직임이라 생각합니다. 때론 가깝기도 멀어지기도 하는 과정, 사라지기도 하는 과정을 시간이 지나면서 겸허히 받아들여야 함을 알게 됩니다. 거울에 비춰진 단상들, 물빛, 공간의 움직임속에 찾아가는 모습을 적어봅니다. ● 마음의 소리는 보여지는 것은 아니지만 작은 움직임을 통해 느껴지는 과정인 듯합니다. 조용한 움직임의 목소리, 그리고 평화로운 마음이 그림속에 혹의 여러분의 마음속에 작은 희망이 되었으면 합니다. ■ 이재윤

Line & Life ● The main subject of these works are about 'Men's Life' and moreover, the process of finding the answer about our 'existence'. During their lives, men makes various relationships, such as family, friends, lovers, member of societies, etc. and through these variety of meetings, they construct their own thoughts. The artist tried to work out these ideas into 'Lines' which crosses, departs and join together. However, these art works are not only showing the interactions between human being, but also expressing one's ego, self-reflection. Through these interactions, the artist is trying to find out the answer of 'existence'. One faces many facts and things, they meet many people through their lives and with all these procedures, they understand about 'Things' that would be different what they usually knew. The difference between the 'Fact' and 'Reality'. Through these conditions, we realize and bring a great changes in our faith and thought. ● The basic lines on these works are based on the 'Zen Buddhism' and futhermore, make a connection with the natural phenomenon with its joins and separation. This means, on the other words, our lives cannot be think without the nature itself. ● The basic construction of these art works begin with small various spots and these spots make lines, lines make spaces, and there lights and shadow were added. These days, the main and fundamental change of the artist's expression is to empty the spaces and try to fill them up with strengthening one's mind. ■ Park Jun Hi
