얼룩말의 숲-Zebra's Forest

인간의 욕심에 의해 만들어진 인위적인 구조와 관계가 복잡해질수록, 사람들은 더욱 강하게 그들의 피폐해진 정신을 위로 받고자 자연을 갈망한다. 이는 단순히 자연이 가지는 안식처로써의 편안함과 여유 때문이라고도 볼 수 있지만, 좀 더 구체적으로 들여다보면, 인간 본연의 바탕이 바로 자연이고, 그로부터 비롯되는 원초적 회귀본능에 의한 이끌림이라고도 해석할 수 있다.

우리는 잊고 지내는 경우가 대부분 이지만, 인간은 항상 자연의 작은 일부에 지나지 않았다. 때때로 인간이 자연을 통제하고, 파괴 할 수 있는 것은 인간의 힘이 그 만큼 강해서가 아니라, 자연이 그저 그런 우리를 너그럽게 용서해 주고 보듬어 주었기 때문에 가능했다는 사실을 깨닫는 것은 그리 어렵지 않다. 그러기에, 자연은 어쩌면 인간이 상상할 수 있는 것보다 훨씬 더 강하지만, 무한히 맑고 善한 에너지를 가지고 있다고 여겨진다. 또 이러한 에너지는 인간이 자연과 조화되고 소통하는 것으로부터 충분히 담고 또 담아질 것이며, 이는 인간으로 하여금 본질적 삶의 의미인 즐거움을 느낄 수 있는 에너지의 원천이 될 수 있을 것이라 생각해 본다.

자연의 일부이기도 하면서, 바로 그 자체가 자연인 얼룩말, 그의 착한 눈빛은, 그것을 배태한 자연의 따뜻한 정감과 닮았다. 화려하나 편안하고, 강하나 너그러워 보이는, 우리가 도시 속 일상을 재촉하다 미처 보지 못하고 지나치기 쉬웠던 자연의 모습은 인간이 늘 바라고 원하는 모습과 닮아있다. 즉, 우리가 원하는 모습은 이미 본래 우리의 모습과 닮아있다. ■ 황나현

When artificial systems and relationships made by human'sgreed becomes more complex, people desire to get closer to nature in order to be consoled mentally. It can be seen just because nature gives the comfort and composure as a shelter. In detail, however, the background of human is nature and getting close to nature is an inevitable attraction of homing instinct. ● In most time living in oblivion, humans have always been a small part of the nature. It's not hard to recognize that humans are not strong enough to destruct or control nature but it has been possible because nature forgives and embraces us. Therefore it can be assumed that nature is not only more powerful than what we have thought but also has infinitely pure energy. Moreover the pure energy will be charged over and over when human blend and communicate with nature. ● And this can be an energy resource of happiness which is an essential purpose of our life. The zebra which is a part of nature is also nature itself at the same time. Her pure eyes resemble the warmth of the nature. Nature, we have easily passed by, has Gorgeous but Comfortable, Strong but Generous features which resemble what we have always desired. In other words, the features that humans have desired already resemble the original image of humans. ■ HWANGNAHYUN
