시시비비 (視視比比) 展 -AAG 세 번째 전시 ● 2004년 AAG는 한국과 일본 작가들의 교류와 작업으로 소통하자는 취지로 결성 되었다. 2004년과 2005년에는 영상물을 제작과 토크라이브란 주제로 두 차례의 기획전을 갖기도 하였다. 2007년 이후 AAG는 매달 한명의 작가를 추천하고 함께 모여서 다양하고 심층적 형태의 워크샵을 갖게 되었으며, 새로운 자료를 모아 블로그도 구축하였고, 작가의 워크샵들을 아카이브화시켜 책자 발행도 준비하고 있다. 비록 2년의 시간동안 전시란 형태의 결과물을 갖지 않았지만 규모는 더욱 커졌으며 더 많은 멤버들이 함께 하게 되었다. 그리고 2009년 4월 드디어 AAG의 세 번째 전시를 갖는다. 아니 2004년에 비해 많은 것 들이 변했으니 첫 번째 전시라고도 할 수 있겠다. 함께 오랜 시간을 준비하며 마음을 나눴으니 AAG의 작가들에게는 그 어떤 전시보다도 신나는 전시가 아닐 수 없다. 이번 전시 제목인 '시시비비'의 일반적 의미는 '옳은 것은 옳다하고 틀린 것은 틀리다고하다]'이다. 하지만 AAG가 이야기 하고자 하는 것은 '보고 보이고 견주어 비교하다' 이며, 서로의 다름에서 오는 차이의 소통인 것이다. ● '시시비비'란 전시 제목처럼 AAG는 지난 2년 동안 소통의 장에 의해 서로가 많은 자극과 영향을 받았고, 그 결과물을 전시를 통해 보이고자 한다. ■ AAG

In 2004, AAG was organized in order to communicate through exchange between South Korean and Japanese artists and their works. In 2004 and 2005, AAG held the planning exhibition with two themes, the production of video and TalkLive. Since 2007, AAG has recommended an artist, and members have attended and held diverse and deep workshops every month. In addition, we have collected new data and opened blogs, and even have prepared for the publication archiving artists' presentation in workshops. Even though we could not have come to fruition, the formal exhibition for 2 years, our organization was further grown and more members of joined to AAG. ● Moreover, at April 2009, finally we are going to open the third exhibition of AAG. Perhaps, we can say that it is the first exhibition because there were a lot of changes in comparison to that of 2004. Our members have prepared for and shared this exhibition for a long time, so that it is tremendously an exiting exhibition for us. ● The title of this exhibition, 'SISIBIBI's general meaning is 'the right is right and the wrong is wrong'. However, what AAG wants to say is not only 'seeing, showing and comparing & contrasting' but also the communication of difference from mutual variance. ● Like the title of 'SISIBIBI', AAG members were stimulated and influenced each other by discourse of "communication" for last 2 years; therefore, we wish to show our results through this exhibition. ■ AAG
