영토화되지 않은, 지구의 마지막 남은 순수한 공간 ● 강소영릴릴의 애니메이션 비디오 연작 『Voyage to Vanishing Landscape』는 조디악보트(zodiac boat)를 타고 항해했던 작가의 경험에서 시작되어 Real- 3D입체영상으로 제작되었다. 관객은 자연의 순수한 신비로움이 남아있는 남극바다로 가상의 항해를 체험하게 된다. 미끄러지듯 떠다니는 유빙과 더없이 고요한 바다. 3D-Max로 모델링한 높이 솟은 빙산은 실제감을 더욱 드러내고, 넘실대는 파도는 검은 연필드로잉으로 거칠게 그려져서 마치 허구 속 바다 같다. 이처럼 서로 대비되는 테크닉(2D & real 3D)으로 표현된 남극바다는 실제와 가상이 만나는 접점처럼 신비하고도 공허한 지점이 된다. 영토화 되지 않은 공간, 남극에 대한 오마쥬를 작가는 이 애니메이션 비디오로 되살리고자 한다. ■ 강소영릴릴

Never will be territorialized, the last Pure & Peaceful Landscape ● LiilLiil's video animation series, 『Voyage to Vanishing Landscape』 is derived from an artist's cruise experience on a zodiac boat in the Antarctic. While on a voyage artist felt like not in a real world. This unique experience is actualized as a real-3D animation in her work. The audiences will experience a virtual tour to the ocean near the Antarctic, which still preserves the pure and mystical character of nature. The images of drifting glaciers, supremely silent ocean, and a highly raised iceberg from the surface of the ocean is fabricated by the 3D-Max program which look more realistic than any other representations. In contrast, the rough pencil drawing of the flowing waves appears fictitious. ● The image of the ocean near the Antarctic embodied by contrast techniques such as 2D and real 3D becomes a mystical and hollow place, which interfaces reality with imagination.
